About Author

Hi, I’m Sahil. Music has been a part of my life for the past four years, and along the way, I’ve fallen in love with playing fingerstyle guitar and the harmonium. I created SargamWorld as a free space for music enthusiasts like me, especially beginners, to explore the world of Indian classical music and instrument playing. I hope this platform becomes a small step for you to connect and fall in love with the beauty of Indian music.

My Mission

My goal is simple: to make learning music easier, more enjoyable, and accessible to everyone, whether you’re just starting out or already on an advanced journey. With SargamWorld, I’m trying to blend the beauty of tradition with the ease of modern tools, sharing notations, practice guides, and little resources that make learning music feel simple and fun, no matter where you are. And we’re just getting started! I’ll keep bringing in new stuff to learn and explore, so your musical journey always feels fresh and exciting.

My Story

This platform began as a personal notebook of notations and musical ideas, something created simply to help in daily practice. But as I shared with friends and professionals, it grew into something bigger. What started as a small personal effort has now become SargamWorld, a space where learners, teachers, and enthusiasts can explore the beauty of raags, taals, and theory together. It’s built with the same passion I feel whenever I sit down with my instruments or listen to a classical performance.
