DMCA / Copyright Policy

SargamWorld respects copyright law and expects all users to do the same. Users may submit musical notations, but it is your responsibility to ensure that your submissions do not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

1. Infringing Content

If you believe that any content on SargamWorld infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice to our Copyright Agent. Please include the following in your notice:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information sufficient to locate it on SargamWorld.
• Your contact information (name, email, phone, mailing address).
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content is not authorized by the copyright owner.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:

• Identification of the content removed or disabled.
• Your contact information (name, email, phone, mailing address).
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local court or the courts in India if outside of India.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

4. Policy Enforcement

SargamWorld will respond promptly to valid copyright infringement claims. Content found to infringe copyright will be removed or disabled, and repeat infringers may have their submissions or accounts suspended or terminated.
